Wolcott Hotel in the downtown area?
Decent place? Bad? Awesome? Me and my husband are possibly going on a cruise that leaves New York, so we realized why not travel around New York for a few days earlier. We're just the kind of 'hm … that looks interesting "phase now, but Wolcott seems to be getting good reviews everywhere I look. If you do not like the Wolcott, guys, do you mind a track or two here or there where-to-stay which is $ 300 per night? ($ 200 or less, is one of principle for us) We're not really worried about the area of New York City who just want to be somewhere used to tourists and has lost enough people out of the walls with .44 Magnum. ^ ^ 'Native-I'm not really trying to say, but I grew up near a larger city, so I know that some areas are decent and some would not survive Rambo happening.
Oh, and a note: I am 21 years old, he 23. Thus in any part that says 25 + would be a little difficult. Military discounts are a plus, though!
It is difficult for Nyers in this forum to discuss Hotels here because they do not stay on. Typically, scores will be in line or reiterate what tourists have told us. The area is okay. You will right between 5 and B'way in 31 St (Herald Square Area). It is safe (who was a consultant for a company right around the corner). Oh Yeah – like a drink at night in a local friendly place – right down the block from you (Betwn 6th Ave and B'way) is O'Reilleys I know the place). Say hello to the bartender and enjoy Shamus premises, often there. Another Note: You want a wholesale price almost in your favorite perfume or Colongne – There's a shop at the entrance 30 and B'way (corner) that will beat any price you have ever seen. Cologne bottle I, but usually two or three times while in a department store. I took my daughter there once and now they left her Christmas presents. You will be surprised that so many Asians in the blocks around the hotel directly. These few blocks are known as K-Town (City of Korea). Around the corner (32nd and 5th St. Btwn B'way) there are many U.S. companies in Korea. Try the largest Korean restaurant just 1250 B'way next. Moreover the smaller joints less expensive than fantasy / in the block, but this is where visiting diplomats South Korean businessmen and go. As for areas to be avoided in Manhattan is very safe, with respect to the other municipalities, unless you decide to travel to deepen in the municipalities, most places in Manhattan that borders are fine (I can not include here the Bronx, because I've never lived there). Now I have a task for you – identifying what do you like in the other municipalities and ask questions here. The posters from here will give you solid places to go to the best way to get there! ———————————————- —- ——————- The poster below may be right in the Hotel. But consider that the roughness between Japanese and Koreans are not uncommon. These two nationalities in one place is like pouring gasoline on a lit match. If you really want to piss off a Korean, mistake them to be Japanese.
