In 15 months he stayed here, produced over 300 paintings. The most famous is the Cafe du soir. The original bar on the Place du Forum has been renovated to look like painting. A monument dedicated to Vincent, his head on a stone found in the Jardin d'été. Not to be missed are Les Arenes in Arles, the amphitheater. The eldest of the Roman buildings of Gaul. Today it is used for bullfights. On the other side of the Place Bornier is the ancient Roman Theater. No Remember to visit the cloister of Saint-Trophime.
